Conference Discord Channels for QnA with Speakers

How to connect to Discord:

  • Join the Discord server via the link.
  • After joining the server you’ll get a welcome message. You need to go to #🎭pick-your-role channel and pick your event by clicking on relevant emoji.
  • After clicking the relevant emoji you should get access to Node Congress channels.

  • 📢announcements - all announcements of very important information will be posted here, don’t miss them!
  • ❓node-asyncmastery-track-qna – ask questions to the Async Mastery Track speakers during their talks & MC will address these questions to speaker

Before & after the conference there will be a few remote workshops. To attend the session(s) you need to register via portal.

Most of our attendees work as mid-level or senior software developers. However, juniors and students will also be present at the event. Please remember that you were once one of them, and treat them with respect regardless of experience.

Day 1, April 4

Tracks

We will have 2 tracks: Async Mastery Track and Module Magic Track. The schedule can be found on the website.

Schedule Overview
  • 4:00pm CET: Opening
  • 4:10pm CET: Speakers' talks with short break in between
  • 9:30pm CET: Closing

After each talk, you will be able to ask questions to speakers on Discord:

You will receive an email with the link and instructions on the day of the event. Do not forget to check your spam folder :)

Day 2, April 5

Schedule Overview

There are scheduled discussion rooms with speakers who gave talks the day before. Each will last around 45 minutes. You can ask questions, share your opinions and experiences.

  • 16:00-16:40 CET - Bun or Deno will replace Node.js?
  • 16:50-17:30 CET - CommmonJS vs ESM, the fight is on
  • 17:40-18:20 CET - Open Source Software: Open Governance or for-profit Startups?

Discussion rooms are not live-streamed and are not recorded!

Last notes

After the second day of the conference, each participant will receive a certificate.

To receive a certificate you need to have an account in the GitNation portal. All talks will be recorded and made available on the GitNation portal.
