During the conference

Platform for communication before/during the conference

Discord – our main platform for communication either with the GitNation team or with attendees and other speakers.

Channels you’ll see after joining Discord:

#💚node-speakers – channel for internal communication;

#❓node-asyncmastery-track-qna – here people will be able to chat and ask additional questions after live Q&A

#❓node-modulemagic-track-qna – here people will address their questions to you after the talk

In case you do not see these channels please tag me (Veronika K.) in #🛠troubleshooting channel and I’ll give access manually.

Talk & QnA on April 4

Full talks are 20 min long. After the talk there will be a 10-15 min live QnA for Async Mastery Track talks in a live format, for Module Magic Track talks in a writing form on Discord. Lightning talks are 7-10 minutes long, there will be a 5 min QnA in a writing form on Discord.

For answering people’s questions you need follow one of the channels depending on the track where you’re talk was played: #❓qna-asyncmastery-track & #❓qna-modulemagic-track.

We have also sent you a calendar invite where we will add all the information

Schedule:

  • 16:00-16:40 CET - Bun or Deno will replace Node.js?
  • 16:50-17:30 CET - CommmonJS vs ESM, the fight is on
  • 17:40-18:20 CET - Open Source Software: Open Governance or for-profit Startups?

If you confirmed participation in one of the rooms on April 5, please make sure you have a calendar invite where you can find the link to join and agenda.

Free workshops

There will be a batch of short remote workshops around main conference days. Feel free to register for any via the LINK.

How to register:

  1. First you need to restore your password here as the portal account was already created for you, it’s connected to the email address you’re receiving all org emails from me.
  2. After entering your profile you need to go to workshops page and pick sessions you’d like to attend & register separately for each workshop.
