Welcome to React Advanced London 2024! We are so excited to have you! Use this guide, so you know all the important info & policies that will ensure you have a safe and productive and amazing conference!

Free Workshops

The workshops take place remotely. To take part in the workshop you have to register separately via the GitNation portal.

Pro-workshops

The workshops take place in person and online, you can find out more about the workshops here. The tickets should be purchased separately.

Registration – 8:00 BST

We kindly ask you to be on time as the conference opening is at 9:00 BST.

Please note that registration will be available throughout the day.

When you arrive, have your conference ticket ready in your phone.

Schedule

We will have 2 tracks: Ballard Track (1st floor) & Tharp Track (ground floor). Each track will have a different speaker in parallel.

You will receive an email with the link and instructions on the day of the event. Do not forget to check your spam folder :)

Speaker Q&A spots

After each talk, you will be able to ask questions to the speakers in-person. We’ll have a dedicated Speaker Q&A spot for most of the speakers. Head there after talk and onstage Q&A to ask your questions to speaker personally.

Location: ground floor, room on the left to the reception – look for a Speaker Q&A banner.

Discussion Rooms

We’ll have 2 discussion rooms:

• 13:30-14:15 BST - Why Don’t We Use React Suspense More?
• 14:30-15:15 BST - What Three Libraries Would You Bring to a Pub Fight

Location: 1st floor, room near the Ballard Track – look for Discussion room signs.

Break before the party (17:15-19:00 BST)

Use the time before the party wisely – take some rest, have a nice dinner with new and old friends, recharge before the party begins!

You can use our custom city map to find enjoyable places to taste/visit!

Ways of Getting to the Venue

Travelling to the Brewery by public transport is quick and easy; situated in the heart of the City within walking distance of several Underground and Mainline train stations.

📌 Underground & Rail

• BARBICAN STATION - (5 min walk) Circle, Metropolitan, Hammersmith & City and Thameslink
• MOORGATE STATION - (5 min walk) Circle, Metropolitan, Hammersmith & City, Northern, British Rail and Thameslink
• BANK STATION - (15 min walk) Central, Northern and Waterloo & City
• LIVERPOOL STREET STATION - (15 min walk) Circle, Metropolitan, Hammersmith & City, Central and mainline rail network.

📌 Bicycle

Bicycle parking is available at the Brewery. Bicycle helmets can be left at our cloakroom.

📌 Uber (Taxi)

Uber works perfectly in London.

Parking at the Venue

There are no car parking facilities on site at The Brewery. The nearest public NCP car park can be found at The Barbican. There is also limited pay and display street parking available.

Convenient multi-storey NCP carparks located at:

• Beech Street (24hrs, Mon-Sun)
• Finsbury Square (24hrs, Mon-Sun)
• Lamb’s Passage (24hrs, Mon-Fri)
• Aldersgate Street (24hrs, Mon - Sun)

The venue is equipped for the mobility of people with disabilities. There are wheelchair-accessible seats in the hall.
